for the Little Red Riding contest- Angie taking it out on the big bad wolfim sorry i wasnt able to color the whole comic in time so i only colored one,
yeah i was very happy with the back ground but not very happy with the way i colored Angie or the wolf. i tryed to do water in the back ground and more color/lighting effects
btw i know Angie's poses i off but i have no time to re fix it D:

ooh, I do enjoy this.
You seem to have a strong grasp on portraying movement and struggle, which is always refreshing to see, considering how much art I normally find to seem very static. You made very good use of perspective and totally work it with both the characters in the foreground as well as the forest background. The faces are convincing too about the rage you are portraying. This is another thing I normally do not see pulled off that well. Most people tend to not exaggerate expressions like you did here; something I personally find to be a key element when trying to set a mood or feel.
The thing I could suggest being able to build up stronger is perhaps the lighting. You have a good solid concept on lighting and shading as seen here, but you could TOTALLY use it to make things much more intense. This includes heavier shadows with with contrasting highlights. Something I've been getting into recently is adding a colored light source which also has a strong effect on the mood. (Once you get that down, you should totally go for doing double light sources. it's hard to pull off, but is fun and looks cool) Plus, there are so many various combinations to effect the feel! I enjoy using mismatched bright colors to give off and alarming mood for example and blues, purples, and turquoises for more subtle anticipation. I mean, it totally depends on the scenario of the image, but still)
Over all, fantastic piece! Although you were unable to finish coloring your whole comic, you've used it to portray what I believe to be a key element of your story. It gives off the idea of how things were prior to the struggle and the impending aftermath. Excellent job!
