Apart from the obvious Fenders etc, I think guitars look naked without a Bigsby, even if you rarely use the thing. I fitted one to my Epiphone Sheraton (with a down tension bar in place of the stop tail piece). I fitted single coils and stairstep tuners too, and after owning the guitar for something like 20yrs, I finally had the Epiphone I wanted...a mix of the Casino and the 335 wannabe it had been designed to be. Best thing about Eppys is that they're worth the effort to customise to personal tastes. Mine will easily outlive its owner!

I really like what you've described, putting your own individual styling, if that's the right word, on to your guitar. I play an old cheap Ibanez most of the time that I've modded and like the feel of.
The 356 is wonderful, sounds and looks great, but is a bit too 'delicate' to throw round, so tend to use it mostly for recording, when I want a creamy tone.
Not too keen on those pretend heavy relic guitars.

thank you - if its any help its actually a CS356, which is a bit smaller, similar in size to a Les Paul
