Tried to make this one a little more vintage looking, because whenever I add faeries to pictures I'm always reminded of the old school photo manipulations they would do by hand, cutting out little faeries and pasting them on pictures. Anyway, I love taking pictures of mushrooms, and a friend of mine requested faeries sitting on one! While Thumbelina isn't a faerie (at least not yet, since we all know she gets her wings when she marries Cornelius) I decided to add in her adorable prince, Cornelius. While I was working on the picture, I could not ignore his hair. I say this in the most loving way, it is positively one of the dorkiest little haircuts I have seen on an animated figure. But he's so sweet that I can forgive him.
