Great, though it needs a tail fan.

They really don't need a tail fan. Birds have them to help them fly, and in some cases, to glide. they might have had them for display purposes, but I don't see why they'd need them besides that, although I'm not sure if a tail fan increases aerodynamics or not.Β
Wings, on the other hand, would help aerodynamics, and dromaeosaurs could've also used their wings in steering, thermoregulation, display camouflage, and even have small claws on their wings to grapple on prey items.Β

I don't think any of the dromaeosaur species found were built for running. Aren't they ambush predators?

No. Plenty were built for running

Well, maybe protofeathers on the undersides and maybe legs of the larger dromaeosaurids, but probably not on the smaller ones. You have to note ratite birds are herbivores with drastically different evolutionary histories, anatomies and behaviors from raptors, and need different adaptions to function in different niches. Note how many largely terrestrial carnivorous birds, such as sereimas, burrowing owls or roadrunners do not have ratite-like protofeathers.
Also, raptors likely needed large wings and tail fans, as the tailfans were needed to balance the body while running and display, while the ings would've been needed for restraining prey, display and wing-assisted incline running.

Ratites ar not purely herbivores though they'll still eat small lizards and insects...and in the case of emus gold.

Still, way less carnivorous than say, birds of prey, which are hypocarnivores.

true, but all those birds do fly on a fairly regular basis. advanced dromies probably spent their entire life on the ground (like Dromaeosaurus)
well, ostriches do fine using their wings to help them turnΒ Β

Well, Ostritches still have pretty big wings, and proportions and lifestyles different to dromaeosaurs.

Now if the secondary feathers were shorter, the wing structure would not immediately be noticeable in this pose? The the wing structure may actually make the claws look bigger?
