In Universe 28,Diana Rogers was a frail and skinny US Army nurse that through a set of unlikely circunstances, including Nazi sabotage, ended being the test subject of the Supersoldier Serum. The results were spectacular, Diana becoming a tall and powerful Amazon called the American Wonder [Wonder Woman/Captain America]. But attempts to reconstruct the serum failed, though and Diana started to get dreams guiding her to a section of the Aegean Sea, where she found teh hidden island of Themyscira, home of the Amazons of Greek myth, and learned she was the reincarnation of the stillborn daughter of Queen Hyppolita. In the last month s of World War II she was frozen stopping a Nazi superweapon, only to be unfrozen in teh modern age, joining the Avengers League [Justice League/Avengers], and fight old enemies like Captain Skull [Captain Nazi/Red Skull], Baron Blitz [Baron Blitzkrieg/Baron Zemo I] and new menaces like Siren [Circe/Selene] or White Leopard [Cheetah/White Tiger].
