Description
As said earlier, the HDV Tiger has hydropneumatic suspension and therefore ground clearance is adjustable, like any Citroën with hydropneumatic suspension (DS, GS, SM, CX, BX, XM, C5, C6) and the AMX-10RC. Lower position is usually used when the vehicle would be loaded to C-130, while the higher position may be used in off road conditions. Tiger has also the capability to raise front and lower rear or opposite to increase or decrease its weapons elevation angle. Tires are also shared with AMX-10RC, Michelin 14R 20 and manufactured in the AU Michelin Factory in HLK among other tires, military or civilian. Finally, the vehicle has central tire inflation system.
