Brilliant art work, but one offer about mushrooms: it can't have traditional form of "leg-and-hat" under the water, so you can transform it to more fantastic forms. Whales are wonderful. The idea is great

Jinksa said, he has not the feeling of an underwater world but he could not name the reason. I think the reason is the sharpness. The water is (most of the time) not as clean as air. Your layers in the background lose opacity/ saturation but the mushrooms in the background have sharp edges. Maybe you try to use a scrim diffuser, in Germany we say β Gauscher Weichzeichnerβ to soften the edges.Β
I hope my critique is useful. Maybe Iβm wrong because Iβve never painted an underwater world... but you can try itΒ
