This lil fool had no regret. Regret would've motivated him to keep young Simba around or leave when adult Simba ordered him to.

The adrenaline wears off...
And for a brief moment, Scar can't believe it...it was so sudden...Did it really happen? Or did he just imagine it?
Eventually it hits home that it's all real. And for one brief instant, Scar asks himself..."What have I done?"
The moment passes as the answer becomes apparent to him. And he smiles. He's just ensured his place as king.
And he realizes that, he's not done yet. He still has one last thing to take care of. Fighting against his facial muscles to hide his grin, Scar prepares for the next role he as to play. He descends into the gorge to Mufasa's body...to wait for Simba.

I feel that this art piece does indeed carry a sense of sorrow depicted not only through Scar but also through the scratches in the rock right below Scar where Mufasa struggled in the last moments of his life. Though I'm not sure if the artist intended it or not. ^ ^"
All in all, I very much enjoyed this piece!

He kills his brother, and towards the end of the stampede, the regret, especially when he's with Simba.

I feel like the only reason Scar would feel any sadness during that moment would be because of him remembering the "good" times he had with Mufasa, and how if things didn't turn out the way they did, maybe things could have been happier for the both of them. So for Scar, it's like "If you didn't do this, none of this would have happened." THIS being anything that might have encouraged Scar's hatred for Mufasa.

My thought is close to yours. I'm don't think he'll regret what he did, but there still had to be some good things to remember about his brother. So yeah, he's like saying goodbuy to that times.

I don't think so, he was full deligted by his brothers death, he had no remorse
but different wasy to write the story are nice and so different opinion, but i don't like just when try to force the bad one to look like the poor victim, just that xD and happens a lot of time in the videos when all blames their father and mufasa...geez

I'd have to agree with you here, Antrague . Even though Mufasa and Taka (Scar)
disagreed and fought, they were just that - BROTHERS!
It must have been quite a shock, once Scar realised he had just sent his brother hurtling
to his doom...
