I sort of did this in regular pencil and I see its limitations -- next time I'll either ink it or use a black pencil.

Thanks for your helpful comment. I will take up the inking job he deserves and do a rescan -- there's no excuse not doing it! Sorry for the late reply -- I had been "away" and it's now time to resume communicating with fellow deviants.
