Couldn't think of a title so I went with "Last of my Kind" by Alice in Chains (which, by the way, totally kicks ass)Despite the genericness of this, it's not a wolf, it's supposed to be a werewolf but I failed at drawing the body so I just kept it as a disembodied head. OHSNAPDOODLE
Drawn a while back, just figured I'd post it now. Cause. I felt like it XP
Yee I know I draw blood all wrong, as if it's on a flat surface, but that's done intentionally. I like how it looks XP

Liquid anything, blood aside, can be difficult. I used to be good at it, but when the tone of my work changed I lost touch with that part. I love this though. Its uber badass!

Welcome! I used to flip through Spawn comics because I liked the way Greg Capullo(sp?) drew blood (and other fluids). He was a heavy influence on the style I eventually developed. Keeping references around though is always good. I got a ton of ref. material laying around me.

Very grisly! Looks like one mean lycanthrope! The blank eyes definitely bring out a more animalistic look to the subject. It might be half human, but you certainly couldn't tell from this shot.

I could tell that it looked like a werewolf from the thumb as well. It's very convincing and I personally like the effect of the blood. <<

That's okay, I have a hard time with drawing the bodies, as well. Well, it's mostly the claw-hands that give me trouble. And girl werewolf bodies confuse me. >>;; And always end up huge and buff.

only one thing, if you don't mind me critiquing, the right eye looks too sunk into the face, maybe if you just widened the bottom brim of the eye it might look more in proportion. Sorry if I sound like a douche
