I love the green fresh color with the gray background. Very nice. Something so fresh, plump, juicy, sweet, sour, alive, such a shock to the senses, on a background that looks so dead and desert-like, and yet is sort of sweet and sexual at at the same time. Gah. Nice photo.

I really adore the green colour of the apple matching into the grey/green photo, but still does its outstanding. The hands is placed just perfect.

I've been searching and searching and experimenting, but I'm unable to figure it out. Sorry if this sounds lame, but... how do you block out all other colours, but excentuate (sp) a single colour. In this instance, the apple. ?

-Copy your layer to a new one
-Then desaturate the new one
-With the eraser erase the objects from the desaturated layer which you'd like to keep in colour (if you know masks, it's better to use them, because you can always undo your actions)
-I usually give the whole desaturated layer less than 100% opacity, because it looks more realistic..
And that's it

More wonderful use of textures and design. Who knows what the "embracing" fingers signify, especially in face of the colorful apple, redolent as it is with so many histories of meaning.

Well, i changed the curves a bit so that i got this greenish tone, added a texture, and then cut the edges
