Introducing the Weapunk's ( Weapon- Stitchpunk) gang's creator, Manuel. He's a scientist located in Mexico, his specialty was physics applied to machinery and fire weapons, he was brilliant, but The Government of Mexico did not want to get involved with the European war at that time so, they saw Manuel's job like not necessary.
Manuel howsoever had contact with scientist on the other side and got hired by USA's defense minister.
Thanks to that job he met various European scientists, becoming friends and also colleagues with the original 9 scientist and a marriage of scientists which were helping the scientist to develop the ideas for the fabricator machine.
Some time before the war, exchanging ideas with the scientist he sent him a copy of an Alchemy book and a few schematics of the original vessels.
Manuel did not show interest in this, he was busy creating fire weapons for the soldiers and the formulating a powerful gas ( which in the future will be used for the Machines who destroyed humanity).
The war started, and he lost contact with his colleagues, leaving him alone in the other side of the ocean.
He decided to give a try to the vessels, thinking he'd be next, although his country did not want to get involved with the war, the internal conflicts started to came out, and the defense minister ordered him to build automatic weapons for his personal use.
He decided to mix both experiments and transferred part of his soul to 3 stitchpunks, which also were weapons, he raised them like they were his own children, teaching them how to survive, hide, and they learned how Manuel used to build weapons.
Catrina was his personal weapon, always carrying her inside his briefcase or under his hat, as an automatic weapon, Cat saved his life several times, Manuel's affection to Catrina was endless, always treating her like his most beloved treasure, however she was just his "daughter" for him, and nothing more, but poor Catrina could not understand that her love will never be corresponded, being her a weapon and nothing more for him.
Some time after Catrina was created, the Minister asked him for a personal weapon, stronger, bigger and more lethal than Catrina.
So he created Diablo, and gave him to the minister. But Diablo could not be tamed, he got tired and killed the minister and some of his soldiers.
Manuel felt so guilty, that hid himself in his workshop and wrote a few letters. He knew the police was looking for him, being the creator of Diablo, it was obvious that the government will see him as the causer.
He used his own personal weapon, and committed suicide.
Hours later the soldiers caught Diablo and found Manuel's corpse, Catrina was totally destroyed (you know emotionally ) and she could not understand, in the letter Manuel wrote they could send the vessels to europe where they will be dismantled and destroyed by his european colleagues.
The siblings were sent to europe inside an armored crate, so they could not escape.
As soon as they arrived, the FAB lost her control and in question of time humanity started to fade away and they got stuck inside an storage, Diablo escaped somehow, but the three remaining siblings stood there, Catrina blaming herself for killing his owner.
The war ended and with it the humans, they escaped and started wandering the lands, building their own weapons and recollecting bullets from the guns.
