Hey! I'm so happy to be your inspiration!
There's a lot that goes into them so I can't just give you general tips.
If you have a specific question about the process I can help, but you can get
a pretty good idea from my FAQ if you haven't read it.
I also have other doll making resources on there too.

1. How did you come up with the room guardian concept?
The idea caught fire when a friend and I were walking through an antique store. On one of the bookshelves sat two stuffed foxes wearing riding clothes. I contemplated buying them because one could convince themselves that their expressionless stares were actually seeing and watching over the room. It was as if they were alive though they wer

My pleasure, and I think it is veryvery nice that you answer to people that ask you or just tell you how beautiful your guardians are,not just ignore them like a lot of "important" people here in Da do.
And thank you very much for the FAQ ^^
BB!

Well I'm sure they have too many questions and comments, but just answer...some..! But in general I don't like people (even those who just have a few watchers) who don't answer, I mean, If someone is interested in your work..I think it's quite nasty
anyways,have a nice day!!!

More than happy, so happy I dont have words. AND I wanna say thank you for the pictures, I forgot that before but they made m e super happy as well, and the little note. Its whose kinda things that really show how much the artist (you) care, also you are really great at drawing! I could never make such pose you made of Dacke on paper, I can only do sideways. Haha.
I begun thinking afterward - was it okay that I uploaded pics of him and showed (promoted you) in the Journal? I know I got a lot of people to go over to you but then I started to think that maybe you dont want your art spread before you upload it yourself? I have seen others promote you like this but yeah, Im a worrying person so please tell me if it was a bad idea so I wont do it again if I buy something more from you in the future. It was all good intentions but I completely understand if you rather dont like it. ^^
I can totally understand how that works! The subconscious thing, its the same when I write, sometime the characters start acting on their own, I can have planned a chapter but they start behaving in other was and all I can do is write along and it get way better than what Id planed! Its hard to explain but I think you get it since you kinda have something of the same. Its kinda like you go a little into trance and you are more of a tool to the story/sculpt itself. Haha. Dont brand me crazy now. XD
I have all of his story you bet! He is one of my main characters in the trilogy Ive been writing for 8 years. I cant give you the full story (as in all books) yet since they arent finished, and also I dont think you wanna read about 1500 pages of text. Haha. But I can give you info about him and some events and such if you want. And of course you can read it only if you have got some time to spare. ^^
Also I WILL write you reviews on etsy, I have totally and absoutely not forgotten! Its just Im away working in the days now, (leave soon again) and when I come home Im all beaten (my work is super hectic and tough - I work at a highroad tavern with millions of customers) so therefore Ive kept from writing the reviews until I have a free day. (on saturday) so that I can really write something good and not only put something fast togheter, you deserve something awesome written. So yeah, it will come soon!

Oh, that is a relief! Im happy to know that! Im always like that, haha, first Im thinking "Im gonna promote her, she deserve it like nothing else" and think its for a super great cause, but then I start thinking "but what if she really dont want it, what if she feel I take liberties that I am not allowed to".Yeah, Im a worry-wart. XD But now Im happy to know you are very fine with it!
I have yet only finished the first book. Its because I begun sculpting last year and... well time simply is not enough anymore. I have the whole thing in my head, I know what will happen and everything - not every single detail since that would take the fun out of discovering the story as I go, but the big whole, and all the big plots and everything. Now I just need to give myself time to continue to write it. I have planned to take at least one day a week when Im not allowed to sculpt, only write. Dont take me wrong, I love writing just as much as I love sculpting, its just I have gotten stuck at sculpting for now. Haha Its a modern fantasy btw, my 2 twin main chars come from our world and our time and then get stuck in this parallell world that is more fantasy-ish. I can send his info to you however you like! Either by note here on DA or on email, what works best for you! (but beware, when I start talking of my story and chars there isnt much to stop me, so you can expect a pretty lenghty text about Dacke, but I will do my best to keep it togheter. haha)
And a graphic style story sound amazing! Id love to see such from you! Hope you get the time to do that in the future!
Hahahah, weeeeell actually the reataurant business is one of the hardest and most stressfull but also one of them with lowest salary. So I wouldnt say I get any good money, but at least I get some money and Im super happy and thankful for it! Here in sweden the unemployment is super high, there simply are no works. About 300 000 are unemployed, so Im very glad I have a job at all! Because without it I would simply have no means to live. But Im working hard to be able to earn some more on my art! And thank you so much! I hope that too!

It's good that you designate days to do sculpting and writing though.
Time management is really hard. It takes discipline. Some days you
win, some days you don't. But if you are set on a goal, you get more
motivated to push yourself to it.
Your story sounds very very cool! Hahaha perhaps I don't know what
I'm getting my self into.. but I am interested. I will give you a note
with my email.
Oh I always forget that you are in Sweden. Here in the US, you can make
pretty good money at a restaurant, especially a high traffic restaurant because
you get so many tips from people. But I guess it's good that you have a job!

Haha you are soooo right in that! I have pretty many days I dont win though. XD Like for instance the days when I very much wanna sculpt MUCH, but Im so tired so I just sit there with a clay piece in hand and do nothing. Haha. But its def a good thing to put up goals! And then.... try to follow them.... ehum. Hahaha.
Thank you so much! And it is sure fun to write, I think you will think the same if you begin. Its always very hard to begin, but what is good to think about is that the beginning of whatever you write NEVER is good, so ignore to make it good and just write for the fun of it, and then you go back and change and change until you are satisfied. Dont think that you wanna write a masterpiece at the first try because that will never happen and you will only end up "scared" to begin because you cant make it good enough. I have changed my first book a LOT of times, maybe read each chapter some 20 times over and the beginning maybe Ive changed about 50 times. But thats whats fun with it I think. ^^
Really? I wish Id work at a restaurant in the US then, here they NEVER give me any tips! The most Ive collected at once is 1$ and that happen like 2 times a year, and its not even a tip really its more the fact that the customer forgot to take the coin with them. (I have gotten a credit card once though and a car key - wich I both had to give back. XDDD) But yeah, I earn about... 4$ in one whole year on "tips". I have a pal that work at a resraurant in a big city though and she can earn up to 200$ a night!!! But then I guess people see a difference between a tavern and a restaurant. We serve restaurant food and are as good as any place but its still such a "drive in on the trip" place and so I guess people think we are not fancy enough to get tips.

Yes Id also say its the same with most everything. Because it feel so daunting in the beginning, and you (at least I) feel I dont know if I can do it or not, but Ive been in a writers school and also 2 university classes and learnt a lot. And they always stress that the best is to just have fun with it in the beginning, do not let anything stop you. Id say - leave your mind behind, meaning you dont stop to think if what you write is good or not, if it make sense or not, just write and let it flow as much as you want and can, and then you go back to edit later.
No... no matter how nice I am people here are like dragons over their money. Haha And also most of them are very rude and angry/irritated and take it out on us. You dont wanna know what they can do, its insane. Its like they think we are not a reastaurant only a tavern so we can be treated however. One of my co-workers ever got a plate of food thrown at her face. -___- And in the ever the drunk people get over and maaaan how I hate them... if you ever have been around drunk people (most men) I think you have a hunch of things they say and do.

That makes sense. I notice poetry flows better if I do not think too
much about the words and let them flow. I guess it's the same with
writing in general.
That sounds utterly terrible! I can't believe people would do that! It's
almost as if they don't see you as people. Maybe they think you are
animals haha. Wow that would ruin anyone's day. Well your good karma
will come back to help you, I'm sure!
