Rakul is part of a series of 3 spirits I made from my own imagination. Most room guardians remain nameless until the owner names them but these particular three have very strong names that came with them. I have yet to decide on a name for their race though. Rakul was the first of the three I created and the one I decided to keep. I'll just call him a late birthday present for myself

Rakul is a very noble spirit with a sodalite heart.  Unlike his more grandiose counterparts, he prefers to interact with things a much more passive way. He slinks at the edges of perception with little indication that he is there aside from the feeling of his presence. He is more of a silent observer, there when you need him to be, but elusive when you call for him. He works in subtle ways to guide and steer you in a certain direction, but will not give you any obvious answers.

What is a Room Guardian??

Room Guardians are small creatures that protect one's home from negative spirits and energies. These friends can be easily placed on window sills, kitchen shelves, dressers, or wherever to keep watch over the room. Each guardian has a soft faux fur coat and each is individually sculpted from the wire frame to the clay face and hands, so no two are alike. Room Guardians are not plush, they have a solid body but their arms, tails, and necks are bendable and Inside each of their chests is a unique crystal heart to give each one a different energy. These little guys have a lot of character and they love having a home to watch over.

 1. How did you come up with the room guardian concept?
The idea caught fire when a friend and I were walking through an antique store. On one of the bookshelves sat two stuffed foxes wearing riding clothes. I contemplated buying them because one could convince themselves that their expressionless stares were actually seeing and watching over the room. It was as if they were alive though th

I love how different the front limbs are from the back ones!  So cool to have him using his knuckles to walk.  The color of the antlers is a nice touch as well!  Are the markings on his face natural or a form of paint?  Would love to hear more about his species when you figure it out!

Thank you so much! I started making him, not sure of what would come out.
I just kind of felt it out, but then a really strong image came into my head and
I realized that I needed to make more like him. Not sure about the facial markings.
I feel like they are more like ancient symbols on their skin rather than paint

Also, what material did you use for the larger part of his tail?
