Etsy commission. I was asked to make a ferret room guardian that was sleeping on the job haha. This little guy has a rose quartz heart ant a bendable spine. It can lay on its back, stand on two legs, or on four.Room Guardians are small animals that watch over one's home. The tallest, standing one foot, these friends can be easily placed on window sills, kitchen shelves, dressers, you be creative. Each guardian has a genuine rabbit fur coat and is hand made by me from the wire frame to the clay face and hands. The room guardians' arms, tails, and necks are bendable and Inside each of their chests is a unique crystal heart to give each one a different energy. These little guys have a lot of character and they love having a home to watch over.

I think the coolest thing about your art is that I'm really, really into taxidermy - but everytime I announce I'm going to buy a dead stuffed animal, my friends give me a look to let me know they won't be visiting if I do, and aren't I a vegetarian anyway...? I love how they have the look of a real animal - perhaps one more strange and beautiful than you might find in the woods, but certainly like it *might* have existed - without the ethical issues/squick factor that comes with taxidermy for some people. And also some of the beauty of taxidermy art too.
I know you used to use rabbit, or maybe still do sometimes, but my friends wouldn't need to know that

Hahaha thank you! Yeah I think that is my goal, to make creatures that are
familiar enough to look like they are real yet foreign enough to make you question
where they came from
I definitely appreciate taxidermy though. It takes a lot of skill to make a dead thing
look alive again haha. Perhaps some time a room guardian will call to you and want
to guard your home. They tend to choose their owners just as much as their owners
