I took this as the image for a birthday card for a friend and figured that it might not hurt to share it with you guys.
I love making cards for people; especially when I can do designs involving Pokemon.
The Munchlax was a purchase at a recent toy show while the cake is actually an earring that I bought at Cos & Effect 2011. Fascinating-but-not-really facts!I'd also like to add that I actually gave my friend a plush Munchlax as the gift to go with this card. Nice coordination, eh? Huzzah~

Oh well. It's really cool! What program did you use to edit it? Meaning, the blurring, not the text. Unless it's the same program. Then that's okay. LOL

Thanks! Well, the blurring is done using the camera, actually; my camera has an adjustable F-stop, which is what will widen or shorten the depth of field, so by lowering the F-stop, I got to blur out certain parts of the photo. I mean, you can try using Photoshop to do background blurring, it just takes lots of time and practice... And patience, to get it right.

It's a Nikon D40, pretty expensive camera, but well worth it!

That camera is almost as expensive as my computer! xD
I will DEFINITELY consider saving up for it, since the only camera I have now takes crappy photos x3

Yeah, it's pretty pricey - I'm currently saving up for the next model up and ooooh my goodness. XD
