YES! I actually started and finished this in the same day!

Originally, this was a wallpaper, but I never enlarged the background to make it the right size. Whoopsie. The idea for this was thought up when I just pulled out my The Princess Diaries soundtrack for no real reason but I had the song that they play at the ball stuck in my head. "Miracles Happen" by Myra. When I listened to the lyrics, it reminded me of Phantom Planet and the Sam and Danny moment. I hadn't really seen a wallpaper like this (not that I've done some hardcore looking, mind you) so I wanted to make one. Also, this wasn't all the lyrics to the song, but I couldn't fit all the words onto this image.

Background is a screenshot from my windows media player as I listened to "Cumbersome" by Seven Mary Three.

It took about two hours to draw and color Sam and Danny then another two hours to get the lyrics on there correctly. I didn't hunt the lyrics online, I listened and guessed at some parts. That's why they aren't completely accurate.

By the way, it sort of looks like Sam's trying to poke Danny in the eye, but she isn't. I swear! Also, she's on her tip toes to reach him while he's slumped to the side. I really, really love how this drawing turned out.

Their hair turned out rather nicely. That's unusual for me to say most times. Oh, and I actually got the outer glow to work on something!

I know, this isn't drawn in the original cartoony version. But, I'm barely average at drawing that way. Plus, I have this insane crazy of drawing the characters looking more realistic. It's a lot of fun. Oh, and I figure Danny's hair is a bit shaggy even if it doesn't really look so on the cartoon because that's the only explanation for why "Fun Danny" had longer hair. Perhaps Danny normally keeps its well kept. Who knows, but I think this style is sexy, so I'll keep drawing it that way (and I was inspired by Jared Leto because when I first say the video to "From Yesterday" I immediately thought of Danny when I saw Jared's ice blue eyes and black, though dyed in this case, hair. ) Yes, Sam's hair and shirt sleeves are longer, but I like it this way.

Drawing by me please don't steal it and say it's yours. If you'd like to use it as wallpaper on your own computer, that's great.
