THE GOTHIC REVIVAL series is my story contains 27 oneshots. This story is about 31 porcelain dolls owned by a Landlord of an old haunted mansion. Every dolls have their own stories.
Some of them have a have a happy ending, some are not.
After the old Landlord dead, his mansion sold to a young antique dealer.......and... this is his story.
Don't ask about the comics ~_~;...'cause I'm not planning to make the comics for now.
Anneliese Rosevineis one of those dolls.She is one of the cutest doll in the mansion.
Compare to the dark

This one done about 2 or 3 months ago, right after Lady Vermillion. I hope I have enough chance to draw more from this series if I free from my jobs T_T.

So first off, [link]
is the picture that really caught my eye. Being a big fan of darker art with bright colors...
So I will try to outline my idea simple but detailed enough, if you are interested.
I wanted a bright blue and yellow colored image of a girl sitting on a retro 50's chair: reference: [link] holding a stuffed dracula vampire doll in her lap, with crumpled papers on the ground.
Background: a big flowering plant with an eye in the center of it behind her going over her shoulder.
Other specs: Also I wanted bright purple eyes, and dark blue hair, if possible a 50's designed lolita dress?
Explanation: I am a writer, I love vampires and I love 50's diners... they are my main inspiration, the flower eye thing has to do with "the writers vision" as a flower.

the stories seem a little similar with 'rozen maiden'..story about doll that have their own mission to be ALICE.

Nah. The dolls not actually moving like Rozen dolls. Besides the story isn't about competiting to each other. It is oneshot collection.It means they have their own story,which is not related to each other.

Either way this is nice, but I say the pose of her right hand is a bit awkward, maybe putting her hands on the leg gives more natural pose than on the knee?

Oh my god she is so fabulous! I love her vacant expression and mussed up hair...she looks like a doll that has been played with, then set out for tea. The moon imagery is interesting...whatever does it mean?
