Great composition, impact, and photographic techniques. the dramatic effect of the foreground man, contrast against the cityscape and mountains, with the near perfect sky, creates a ver dramatic piece.
On the critique side, the colours are a little overblown for my taste, and I think it would be better if the thirds rule was applied more, with a bit more equality given to foreground, city+mountains, and finnally sky.
I think 100 words might be just a it obbsessive i think, unfortunatly, any more than 60-70 words starts to become a little tricker...I quite like this feature though, on the whole...makes if a bit easier to give formal cirtique...

What do you mean by colours are overblown, there are no colours. Do you mean the image has too much contrast?
And as for mountains vs sky ratio, I understand exactly what you mean. Had the sky have been more interesting I feel this snapshot, as it was merely a snapshot, would have worked a bit better.

I really like this photo. I like the sky's fade and the man really looks cool.
And I like the pictures you take with the men and middle aged women in it. Who said they couldn't provide a certain beauty? I'm glad you don't take pictures of "hot girlz" because then you'd be just like everyone else on this sight. I sincerely thank you for your wonderful photography! (Not saying you can't take a picture of a pretty young lady).

I would take photos of beautiful women if I could get my hands on them... no actually, you're very right. Boobs win pageviews and faves, and that is not what I want. A picture of an older face can be a lot more expressive and telling than a picture of a younger one, I find.

Thank you. I do enjoy drawing pinups myself but lately as I've gotten more into deviantArt I find drawing them isn't fun for me anymore. I'm not after pageviews just cus I like drawing them but the people that do that just make me sick.
