Description Hello I'm Johnny Cash
Today was the most overcast day I have ever seen!
Taken with my soon to be wife, Casio QV 4000.
Forgive the pixelation and lack of quality. I had to crop to infinity.

Taken in the Media hafen.

I donot know how I missed this photo of your

this is wonderful composition. The thick black pillars of the bridge grab attention and then lead it all the way down to the man walking...

and strangely it works both ways, so the eyes are continuously dancing...

also the contrast in the sizes of the man and the pillar aids this beautifully...

If you actually thought of these things while composing the shot then you are brilliant.

Simple yet very nice. I love how you caught the person walking there as well.

Excellent use of line vs figure contrast.

You think so? I really like this image, but the tilt in the actual bridge makes the whole thing look as if the image is tilted.
Thanks for faving!

Tilt is good, creates tension.

aobaob In reply to daYavuz [2009-02-27 18:53:17 +0000 UTC]

Tension? Sorry but what do you mean by that?

daYavuz In reply to aobaob [2009-02-27 19:07:47 +0000 UTC]

Oh, it is just that we associate verticals and horizontals with stability, tranquility, motionlessness, etc, and angled lines with instability, tension, movement, etc.

Having a pic with many straight lines with slight tilts from horizontal/vertical automatically creates a sense of tension or disequilibrium. (Which is good, like spice in food.)
