i was looking one Japanese site, and decided to watch a kabuki which was suggested.
there i heard his name and remembered it from your art.

Same thing here, but I must say I'm busy with Masters Thesis and thus I'm very very scattered, when I have time I just sit and stare holes in the air
Necks are ultimate sexy love. with this little angle Adam's apple provides. One of the sexiest things about onnagata - with the make up and masking costume, the neck is still undoubtedly male.

I love this. Its honestly quite the eye catching peice, I really adore the perpetually shocked or surprise look on his face, and the way you rendered the strands of hair that delicatly fall in his face, absolutly amazing <3 The shading is really spiffy as well, I really love the eyelashes in partiicular. They give his face such a delicate beauty...

It is so interesting, that most people who commented see somethign new in his face. I mean expression wise. But I think the slight anguish or surprise is what it is initially - I deliberately took a photo for a reference that had been very blurry and rather out of the context, so I could see what feeling can I put into it.
ahhh.. My Tamasaburo obsession needs more ink to be involved! Kabuki make up can be so delisciously stylized~

To tell you the truth to talk to people is why i joined DA. I mean you can create all you like alone but when you talk to other people and you share ideas and just get to experiance so many diffrent mediums an emotions through them its just... amazing. Thats why i havent even really been on here that much. people are colder then what i expected them to be, and sometimes the boudless stupidity of people on the internet can simply stun me. Its rather hard to really find anyone to talk to for more then a few exchanges of praise, which is why i value speaking to you so much. your a breath of fresh air <3

i am surprised how climate can change. There was one wonderful gallery which I joined. People were much more interested and involved, long discussions and all. Then after one very bad joke a lot of artists left. and somehow from here it went downhill.
I left it after they banned portraits, claiming it is photo-plagiarisms... (not traced, just in general)
People were reporting each other right and left. So sad. community crumbled.
DA is just rather impersonal, and being able to talk to you or a few other people who actually TALK. is a real treat!

Я не знаю, на какой бумаге ты рисуешь, но если она достаточно плотная, то можно сначала намазать всю область сплошного цвета ПРОСТО ВОДОЙ, а потом уже краской, по мокрому. Тогда разводов не остаётся, во всяком случае, таких явных и параллельных. К контуру волос никаких претензий не имею 8)))

This style is new in your gallery and I already like it, the shading is very stylish and so are the outlines. For some reason teh drawing mad e me think of various shonen animes about samurais (I really like the makeup too ^-^), wonderful job on this! <3
