Description It's a shame that Rick Jones as A-Bomb wasn't really explored coming to terms to being a Hulk-like monstrosity because that I find design rather interesting.  This was more or less a reversioning of the previous A-Bomb character study I've drawn, adapting more heavily from Mark Robinson and Antonio Fabela's short stint in the Red Hulk series since I don't like the television model used in Hulk and the Agents of SMASH.

Hmmm, I have to be honest, I am not that familiar with the character, but comparing it to the images I found online, it feels like you got it right for the most part. I enjoy his pose, the sunglasses and even the legs are not too short . At best I look at the background and for some reason question if it should look like it does, but I can't pin-point why exactly. I don't have much ill to say, fancy poses and perspectives like this are something I can't claim to be good at yet, so big props friend, good job!

I'm actual glad that he wears pants. Better than the void in Agents of Smash. Also a great, quite unusual pose.

Agreed, the design in Agents of S.M.A.S.H. kinda looked like plastic.
This here and also the designs from Robinson and Fabela look far
better to be honest. Mostly, because it's much less looking like
plastic, but like a stone skin. So basically instead of a living
action figure to something more intimidating.

Thank you for saying that - I agree too.  Alas, Robinson and Fabela were the only ones (in my opinion) to give A-bomb a more organic look; Ed McGuiness, Tim Seeley, Gabriel Hardman and others don't seem to get him quite right in the face (which is a shame because I liked Gabriel Hardman's draughtsmanship).

It's a shame indeed. I would love to hear Rick's thoughts on being a Hulk himself.
