Oh, I don't think people here hate Englishmen (maybe, I'm not really from "France", but New Caledonia, a french colony but my country is surrounded by Australia and New-Zealand, so we always have a friendly relationship with english populations). Or I don't notice XD But all I can say is that in Paris frenchmen speak a VERY BAD english XD

Well, today I was speaking with my History teacher who wa stelling that, for frenchmen, speaking another language is useless because french is the most beautiful tongue. WTF. NO. ALL LANGUAGES ARE AWESOME DAMN.
It's not that we're stubborn, I think we're more friendly. We're no stressing nor stressed and not afraid to lost our rank in World's rates XDD lol. I think frenchmen are pretty stupid about that. Anyway. sometimes I'm so ashamed to be french XDD

You shouldn't be surprised, even dA members from Poland normally give their pictures titles in English, sometimes in Polish, and it`s (for me for 100%, maybe for other Polishers) something abnormal that a person from other country is giving her/his work title in Polish
So you prefer the same couple as I (LietxPoland /Liet is SEME X3!/). Belarus is cool, she only lost her face's muscles

I've been........ effortly trying to learn polish for... few weeks ?? 8DDD lol. No, I'm not learning polish but indeed my friend is from Poland. I also know a classmate who's polish... and then I noticed on DA a lot of my watchers are from Poland... YOU'RE EVERYWHERE.
Therefore I try to learn some basics (dzień dobry, do widzenia, wtorek etc...), and I've added the polish writing on my keyboard XD But actually I can't understand much than what my friend taught me, and about speaking... my accent would make you cry XDDD

Well, Axis Powers Hetalia is a webcomic (in japanese) by Hidekazu Hiyamura running for almost 6 years. But a manga version came out few months ago, and an anime soon too.
It deals with History in general but in a funny way........ where the countries have human forms !!! 8DDD there are lots of clichés and stereotypes, like, for example :
-Germany (human name : Ludwig) : blond-haired and blue-haired, very authoritative and unfunny. He likes beer and sauerkraut 8D enjoys all kind of sports. He's really loyal, but not very patriotic though.
-France (Francis Bonnefoy) : blond-haired, blue-eyed, he likes all kind of arts (music, painting etc...) and he's a wonderful cooker. He's a bit narcissist and he's hedonist........ enjoys all kind of pleasures (as sex XD), beautiful things (including women AND men), and most of all : wine
etc... and on my picture I've drawn Russia (Ivan Braginski, a scary fuck o_o), Lithuania (Toris Laurinaitis, OMG I LOVE THAT GUY) and Poland (Feliks Łukasiewicz, he's such a funny fellow X3 kind of Lithuania's best friend, he's got some odd habits and has the reputation to be like a phoenix : he'd been crushed by other countries often and had come back out of the blue each time). This manga is wonderful for someone like me who loves History.
You should have a look at this community translating the comics => Hetalia on LJ (look for the scanlations, not complete though). Here's the first chapters^^

Ahaha, same for me, I fell in love with Hetalia especially because of the part "The Great Depression" <333 But what definitively pushed me into Hetalia were the strips with Japan and China. This is what I'm studying actually at school so it made me really happy and fangirl.
