Description
Had the idea drawn out a while ago.. when I got back from holidays I decided id start colouring it!no theme really, just for fun
and done in photoshop

Right, so this is what you were doing.. now that I look at the face progress shot you sent me, this is honestly not what I was expecting, but it's still really good regardless.
I like how the overall piece in my opinion, looks like some kind of.. "emblem", you know? Perhaps instead of an overall white background, you could of (specifically for uploading to deviantART) used the same colour scheme as the background of the pages of deviantART.
I really like the colouring and the tone, especially with the use of blue. When I saw the face progress shot, I assumed there would be somehow water involved in this piece. It reminds me a lot of the summoner's dance from Final Fantasy X (with Yuna).
The background is cool too - realistic, yet at the same time appears as a simple background, which I think works well. It's effective. The silk stuff swirling around the woman is cool too, especially with the transparent effects.. combine this with the hair, I can still see the sense of "flow" and movement within your work.
The only thing that I think could possibly use work is the woman's neck. In my opinion it looks a bit too big, too thick. It may also be a bit too long, maybe. Then again, I'm not exactly Mr Pro at the female anatomy/proportions either.

I did put the background the same colour as DA.... on my computer it is anyway, maybe our computers are showing different colours for da background o.O I took a screenshot so I could get the right colour in photoshop. *shrug*
I think with most my pics I generally elongate the neck
