He misses his daughter more than anything. You can see it in his eyes. For those of you who are just recently watching me or are looking at this for the first time. Charlie saw his daughter Melody (the kitty) get hit by a car on March 19th 2008. She was 11 months old. Charlie hasn't been the same since.
They were inseperable. It makes me so sad to see him this way...

My family also has a cat who used to be so friendly, and she saw her sister get run over by a car, and has never been completely right since. she lost weight, and you can see that it deeply affected her. she got very grumpy for a while, but is very close with my sister, the cat is friendly to her, so at least she has some happiness.
