My eyes sting from keeping them open too long x _ x)Idk why I suddenly felt like drawing Pip. I guess, I needed an excuse to draw a girly face. Now, why do I always picture Pip as the feminine type???

Wow! The flowers and details in the background are great! You're a really good artist. Do you do non-fan-art? Are you employed as an illustrator or something? (Or are those questions too personal?)
But I totally interpret Pip as girly boy, too! It's because he has a lot of attributes that are generally considered feminine in our society, i.e. non-violent, passive. (Sorry, we're doing a unit on feminist criticism in my lit class, ahahahah). I've never gotten the whole Damien/Pip thing though. Pip has always seemed really straight to me, like one of those shy nerdy boys who ask the shy nerdy girl to the prom in one of those cliche highschool flicks. (Damien is one of the boys who I really do think would grow up to be bi, but I think he would prefer manlier men. Like Christophe. Lolololololol). So who is Pip holding the flowers out to? The son of Satan? Or, like, Estelle or something. Ahahahah I'm reading too much into this picture. I'm tired, okay, and procrastinating on an essay, and this is super pretty.
SO. In conclusion to that super-long-slightly-fangirly-character-analyzing rant, you are an amazing artist and you should continue doing art and drawing SP characters all awesome, and if you do any original art you should show it to me, okay.

Not at all! Personal would be asking how much I weigh without clothes on. I do a bit of original stuff with another friend. We just kind of do it for fun and if we're distracted or simply can't be stuffed, it ceases for a while. I do plenty other fanworks too but I think SP is my biggest obsession atm. I finally got a hold of season 15 but now I have to catch up all over again. Boo.
You remind me of that friend lol! She's doing a lot of analytical literature too. Now she can't watch a movie or TV ad while I'm present without pointing out sexist markers and the like ahahaha. Hope that essay is all written up by the time you check your inbox.

I really would love to know how you get such awesome lighting and texture going on in your work. I've only just scratched the surface at digital but I'd love to get as good as you eventually.

AHAHAHA It's nothing really. maybe I should post one of those process/screencap things. It's all in the layers and it's a bit tedious at first, but once you learn to just slide and let mistakes be, it's a cinch. I used a lot of overlay in this. A LOT. And I save a lot of slightly altered jpeg versions of the semi complete work so I can use it in another overlay. Again and again, changing the hues and adding textures. The actual drawing and colouring probably takes 40% of the entire project duration.
Wow...could you follow that? That's like reading user's manuals. You're probably all "cbf" lol
