Description
Names have meanings:
Cubug: Cub (The young of many beasts including panthers)
+ Bug (Term loosely used for insects and insect like animals)
Beastle: Beast (Animals, typically large, four-footed mammals)
+ Beetle (A group of insects with several large members and members known for notably tough exoskeletons)
Athropardus: Arthropod abbreviation (creatures with exoskeletons including insects)
+ Pardus (Extract of; Panthera Pardus, species name of most Melanistic Leopards the most common form of Black Panther)
+ Pardus (Latin for Male Leopard also derived from Sanskrit Panther)

The classes like Beast, Bug etc. are physical structure rather than elemental power.

Well gone past tense.
This project was started in like 1990.
Apart from mouse done (cant afford a tablet.) redraws based on old sketches; most the uploads are just old images but remounted on backgrounds.

Possibly even a split family, as popular familys tend to expand to 6 or more memebers. As I dont follow pokemon rules (has it own stupid lore, from before Pokemon hit our shores.)

Just so you know, I'm not discounting out of hand. (Infact had some ideas since, including the female having some extra mammalian traits to offset the athropod wings.

I did briefly consider wings, but i wanted to emphasis that they are an equally Beast & Bug, not just a Giant Insect with 2 amputated limbs.
They are terrestrial ambush predators like real world Beetles & Panthers. They are good at climbing and leaping
Due to the digital nature of the creatures, gender differences are usually limited.
Eventually family may have as many 6 stages .
But I will bare in mind when i come around to this family again. (so many other familys in WIP folders odds are any requests anyone was to make, probably has something on the docket awaiting development.)
