I would love to purchase it, but at the moment, I'm broke. I spent all my money on school books.
I'm bet that your pics will be just as amazing the next lightning storm.

There was a storm before this one in the photo so I did take a little break. Yeah, I totally understand! part of me was unsure If I would even get the shot and wait it out or I was wasting my time.
don't give up next time! I posted links to someone else's comment in this section, they are links to articles on how to capture lighting. If you can't find them I'll send you them, just ask!

Yea i found the links. It is helpful. I will give it a try and study it a bit. Also it is good that there is written about settings of the camera. I bought my cam long time ago and still donΒ΄t know how to set it properly. Perhaps because i dont shoot so often now a days =/

alright, thanks! Does your camera have a manual? I would read that and if it doesn't have one you may be able to google your camera and it can tell you the settings etc.

thanks so much! I only captured two lightning strikes in one hour out of 50-60 photos. I feel your pain, lol! It's tricky but worth it.
I kept wiping the lens off when it got wet and pressing the shutter button every minute or so.

Were you just fast on the catch? Or did you have to keep the shutter open? It's quite lovely in color.

oooh yes ma'am, lightning can split and do so many cool things . When lightning splits. it can split and strike up to three or more different places on the ground. Makes me hyper thinking about it, ahaha. here's a little article with photos if you want to check it out:

I KNOW!! gah, I'm so glad I can die fairly happy now, haha. It was on my bucket list too. It was worth pressing the shutter button every time it took a photo, haha. The lightning was random and all.
thanks for the fave!! you will get it one day, keep trying!
