at first glance your linework only seems to have
relatively little rhyme or reason to it. however, as it turns out anyone relying on 'first glance' is making a mistake of epic proportions. going to full view reveals (at least in my opinion) a well thought out
and complicated technique of lines, shapes and textures.
now since i've already managed to 'step in it' so to speak let me ask another question that will no doubt expose my utter lack of education,...what is drypoint and etch exactly?
i love this style.
excellant stuff.

Drypoint - An intaglio printing process in which burrs are left on the plate by the pointed needle (or "pencil") that directly inscribes lines. A kind of engraving which has a soft, fuzzy line because of the metal burrs

Etching - An intaglio printing process in which an etching needle is used to draw into a wax ground applied over a metal plate. The plate is then submerged in a series of acid baths, each biting into the metal surface only where unprotected by the ground. The ground is removed, ink is forced into the etched depressions, the unetched surfaces wiped, and an impression is printed. Also, both the design etched on a plate and an impression made from an etched plate. Too often confused with engraving.
