Not many have seen this rare creature, which hides in dark caves and comes out at night to devour unwary victims. It is said to resemble an eight foot tall, furred human with ape-like arms, long fingers, and a head resembling that of a bat. They fear light and loud noises, and sleep upside-down on the ceilings of their caves. They communicate with each other with a low frequency that humans cannot hear, and are capable of emitting high-pitched shrieks that can stun their victims at close range.
