I think it's really cool to see the main character 'maturing' and getting stronger, but I can see why people wouldn't like it, of course ;D

The thing i don't like is that they ALWAYS try to show that Twilight is the most important one and it kinda seems like they all want us to think that she's ultimatly better than her friends.
The whole alicorn thing was such a 'you've gotta be friggin kidding me' moment for me x)
But putting that aside, your artwork is really beautiful :3

Yeah I can see that, how she's made out to be more important than her friends are, though I guess as the main character that's always going to happen :/ I don't know why, but it reminds me of a lot of other shows in which the main character all of a sudden gets way more powerful than all their friends, like Naruto or something.
I never had a problem with it, but I totally understand why some people would x3

I love the pose she has here. The wings here are quite beautiful indeed, I like the "one up, one down" arrangement. Beautiful long feathers and the gently curving sharp-ended shape they have. I like the raised hooves and the streaming mane and tail. The use of those gentle curves and a forward-directed motion implied by the flowing shapes is great. And then there's what I believe is a pleased, open and even happy expression. I love Twilight's small smiles and sincere eyes and exceptionally experssive ears so much, and you manage to depict them well here. AS for the night sky, it does look good! I think I recognize the points from that night sky tutorial one of the artists did. Nicely done.

Also, the base of her tail is a tad too low. Other than that, the drawing itself is really nice!
