This is very-definitely a surreal piece of work. For some reason, perhaps because of the tones that have been used, I get the feeling of loneliness from this piece more than I do any other emotion or concept. What I like most about this piece is that it looks natural: that is, it isn't very easy to see that this has been manipulated. You've done well to get the scale and lighting of the chair pretty-much correct, along with the scale. Everything looks like it should be where it is, within the image. Excellent stuff.
