I fell in love with fantasy Sci-FI Art since i saw the firts works of aphostol. this is particular work is great mixture of both themes.
the most stunning thing for me is the cityscape in the back its so well detailed, the shadows and lighst are great .
on the model the armor looks really realistic, again the shading with highlight and shadows and the details are overwelming.
the only thing that could be "improved"is the left site of the picture itΒ΄s a bit dark and the shades and details would come out better when it woudl be a bit lighter, also on the model the balance between the dark side and the light side could be more flowing and less hard.
but over all its a great piece of digital art.

I really love the background of this picture. It has a very nice color scheme, setting the moon very well, with just the right blend of detail and shadows to make it look nice without drawing too much attention away from the girl. The lighting is well drawn as well, since her armor is the only thing that shines in the pictures, it helps make her more of a focal point.
The right side of her ribcage, where its partially hidden in shadows and partially in light looks a little odd, like someone is pinching her skin. Thats the only thing I didnt like as much in this picture, and I didnt notice it right away.
My favorite part of this picture though, is her expression. I wasnt drawn to it right away, but its kind of subtle and emotive at the same time, I really love it. It looks soft, in a picture where everything else looks harsh.

This is a stunning piece that shows strength and beauty in both the picture as a whole and with the charecter portrayed. Emphasis is placed on her as she is the only part in colour which draws the attention away from other parts of the picture even though they are very good. The detail put in to this picture is massive from the tiniest crack in the rocks to the individual feathers of the birds and the flying birds in the background which are not visible untill u take a much closer look, this shows the large amount of time and effort gone into it. The idea is original and brilliant which is a rare find among many pictures of this type.
