Description Soulfire84's comment inspired me to take the Vue render I made yesterday and do a little postwork on it. This is what I came up with.

Original Render: [link]

When I was first working on it, I was like omg this screams unicorns. There might as well be a Pegasus and a big rainbow in the clouds. But then I worked on it a little more and I started to like it. I've eternally fallen in love with Vue.

Tools
Vue 5 Infinite
Photoshop CS2

Tree Brushes: [link]
(I was too lazy to go back into Vue to put some more trees on the distant island, so I just brushed some on )

Comments, favs and critique more than welcome.

Wow, very nice. However, the ground in the foreground looks odd, kind of like water.

Thankyou. And yeah, I didn't add any material to the terrain. It's just a gray landscape with a lot of lighting.

hey, this is very nice. my compliments.
two aspects you should consider fixing:
1.you can't see stars through planets
2.a little reflection in the water of the big planet will surely add to the image's realism (just flip the planet layer upside down on the horizon, blur it a little and then blend it with the water with a big soft brush, erasing unnecessary parts-that's the quickest, yet a bit unprecise way to do it)
.have fun and always keep improving

Wow, this is on par with Bliss' (Digital Blasphemy) quality of digital spacescapes. Very impressive; definitely fave-worthy!

This version is so much better! I like the extra trees you've added tot he island, and the multiple moons and an actual light source!! In the other one we couldn't see a light source, so all the light hitting the tree was kind of confusing.

This looks great! Well done.
