Response to [link]God really. All this individualism bull crap. Beeing "different" doesn't mean anything at all, it can be anything from superman to a mental wrack. And those who say that they are special often only link that to superficial means.
So you are a drug addict? Oh look how special you are. (Along with the other millions of drug addicts of course.)

Trying to be special is mainstream already, so I am hipster by not trying to, yo.

Everyone is special in their own way -but- claiming you are special/different/unique/a snowflake is another matter altogether. My rant would consist of what your put about the drug addicts and the rebellion so I shan't repeat it.

I could agree on that.
Though... what makes you think everyone is special? Sure, if you look at 100 people you will quite likely see 100 different people, maybe 2 people who are about the same, or something. But the more people you'll look at the more people you'll see which are just the same. If you look at a million people you might see 1000 people who are just the same. We are all humans, what makes us different from each other are the experiences we made.
Feel free not to discuss it, it's not that important in the end.

Yeah you do make a point there. The special part is from the experiences but...well if we think about it there's always someone else who went through the same thing.
