Description
A painting I started on for a long time ago, but I finally finished it yesterday.I'm planning to make different paintings for archangels in this style for an exhibition. Event though Lucifer can't be called an archangel today I felt like making a painting of him too.
Watercolor and ink.

This is an amazing painting! I love all the symbolism behind each little bit; I'm not used to seeing the peacock and the snake combined like this! Since you clearly did a lot of research, can I ask what the flowers are and if there's a story behind their choice?

The flowers are called Lucifer. I don't think there's any backstory about those, but since I'm using the flowers for all the archangels these was the closest to what I could use. The other arch angels have flowers that symbolize them.

Wow, this is the exact image that comes to mind when I think of Lucifer. Ice blue eyes and raven hair. Just everso pompous and troublesome with all the stealth of a snake and pride of a peacock.
