a commission work done for *Shadowhardt of her beautiful cat Berlioz, I really enjoyed painting her fur so I took even further than I usually do... so the wallpaper size to appriciate details c: used photoshop and paint tool sai.me on TWITTER

I had a cat named Berlioz a few years ago; he even looked quite like this one, just a bit darker.
He was only one and a half years old when he got hit by a car. I still miss him...
This painting immediately reminded me of him, even the look in her eyes; obstinate yet curious.

I've been drawing cats for as long as I can remember (tho they weren't always a pretty kitty^^) And recently I've gotten pretty good with heads. Now there's one main problem:I CANNOT GET THE BODY!! How did you get so good?!?!
