Well, here it is... the shot I have been talking about. I'm just as surprised to see it here now as a couple of you may be. I thought it was a lost cause from my little shoot tonight, but a little tweaking and it worked out! It may not seem like much to some of you, but it hits me in a funny way, it just means something to me but I'm not 100% sure what. I think it's just that this shot kind of represents a point in my life... just graduating and on a road where I can't see what's around the next corner, with very little resources for guidance... on my own...*Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated on this one* Thanks

It's a very well taken photo. The light was very well used in your favor instead against of you, the colours are great (mainly because of the reason I've presented about the light) and the only thing is it seems a little blurry... But! It's a work that is well done and it transmite us the feeling you were having, I guess. The light still, may talk of hope in there. It's one of the shots that caught my attention when walking in your gallery.

I'm glad you noticed this one! You're right though, it is a tad bit blurry because I took this one before I had my tripod and a decent knowledge of photoshop. I had plans last or this month to revise it and take the shot again from the same perspective... but the light you see is now burnt out.

hrmm the idea is cool... i like the darkness around the area in the trees and the light lighting a small area up... but wouldnt the trees right next to it be lit up as well? for some reason they are still dark!
Also, unfortunately the quality of the photo isnt that good. get a better camera! the pic would be much better!

My camera is fine... it's because I took the picture without my tripod.
It's not really my fault that the trees right next to the light aren't lit up... I can't control that, besides the border, there's no editing done to this picture. I plan to do a revised version of this in the future... to me, the pic deserves it.

and that would be a good reson to not go down that road you shuld try a better lit more paved one no need to follow the road less traveld ^^ thats how horror movies start
