Yesterday was a record day, more than two feet of snow covered Virginia. I took this photo on my front yard.------------

This picture's beauty is in its simplicity.
The two snow hillocks and their diversity in size – the smaller one right in front of the bigger one – captured in the center of the photo form a perfect composition. Their shapes are very sensual and the daylight from the top left achieves smooth shades and leads to a distinction between the two. Additionally a slight vignetting is well applied to especially highlight the hillocks.
However I noticed two minor disturbances in the photo, namely some sensor dust spots and the indication of another hillock at the right margin. These are hardly visible though.
Nevertheless I'm really impressed by this abstract and minimalist piece of photographic art. In my opinion it's a masterpiece. Not only due to the perfection of this shot, but also due to the fact that you captured a scene most people wouldn't even perceive.
