My solas sculpt is finished. It was very challenging, human faces are very complex things. But I am glad I finally tackled one again. At 15cm, it is also one of the biggest pieces in a way that I have done yet. It was nice to not have to try and find something smaller than a pin to work details. I went with a simple stone effect finish, sometimes I think trying to paint it realistically like skin can detract from the sculpt.

EDIT: I wasn't happy with the finish so decided to repaint. Much better!
