And a halo of hair
That poofed out around the edges,
Who reached down the front of his grease-stained sweatpants
Which were held up by a rather incapable looking yellow rope,
To pull out a 50 dollar bill
To pay for a 64 cent can of cola;
We thank you for your business
And won't ask you where you keep your 100's.

*snrks* This is a beautiful thing, if only because I've experienced the same thing before.
I like how the lines are broken, it definitely feels like a spoken word type of poem, rather than one that has to be read on the page. And the words, even if it's not flowery, really make an image in your mind. Or at least, in mine. (I might even have had this guy as a customer...)
