Oh, I've always wanted to go to Switzerland, at least to see these dramatic Sound of Music mountains for myself. This captures how I always thought they should look beautifully. I like the steepness of them and how the paths lead you into the center. Looking at the shadows and lines, that it seems like you'd get vertigo walking that path. That's how I always pictured Switzerland. I also like your tree and building highlights.

I see it!!!
wonderful work
looking at it makes me wonder if the cows' legs are longer on one side than the other
being Switzerland, there must be cows....

hee, there were many cows! I think they must have been indoors being milked.

You did a wonderful job with the mountains in the background and perspective on the hillside. It gives the picture so much depth.

I think you've done a lovely job. Oils are a hard thing to master, specially if you're trying to do realism. You, however seem to have a good handle on it, you progressed really well. Great job love!

It was much harder than I anticipated, so I had to work really hard on it. I'm really proud of how it came out. thanks!

Mmm, this is lovely. I don't think I've ever dared a landscape in oils, but you've really made the most of the vibrancy and depth of colour they give. I love the tints of blue in the shadows and the warm yellow-green grass. Very nice.

Awesome painting! Great colours and you've captured the depth beautifully! The colours of the shadows in the trees are great too. I'd be very proud
