Description
It’s been a long timesince you’ve been gone.
“All things must pass,” they say
they didn’t know that I need you.
I try to look for my inner light,
my cloud 9
but I’m just a poor little girl
and I’ve got my mind set on you.
All those years ago,
when you was fab
you seemed larger than life itself.
But the buzz came and took you away,
away to the lord
because you really wanted to know him
and to go with him.
The night has seen me wide awake
and all I’ve done is think of you.
I thought I’d make it,
the day you went away
but I can’t make it
it’s all too much for me to take.
It’s not the same with out you
even though I can still feel you here
still it only takes time,
before I can open my heart again
There’s a whole lot of love
shaking inside of me
like a dark horse running on a dark race course
I must figure out why it’s there
while my guitar gently weeps
Hear me lord,
help me lord please
to rise a little higher
and realize the art of dying
and help me blow away these tears
instant amnesia,
the sunshine life for me.

Isn't it weird being in love with someone who isn't even...here, anymore? every time i swoon over one of his songs, or a video of him, and that smile...i forget that he's gone. for that moment, you know.
