It’s not only annoying, but also rude to stop at nothing to keep trying to win someone over to your religion when they have expressed disbelief/disinterest and you know it. It’s pretty much saying to them “I know more than you do and what you believe is invalid”. Some people have been traumatized by religion, a great example being LGBT people who have been told that they will burn for eternity after they die just for being themselves. If you believe in a given religion, fine, but respect the fact that not everyone on earth is going to believe the same thing, nor do they have to. That is the diversity of humanity, and that always has and always will exist. This also goes for non-believers who try to force believers to stop believing.

Also, simply telling someone what your religious beliefs are/about how you worship (if you do) is not forcing your beliefs on them.
