Thing about Kieran is that who ever meets and sticks around long enough to know how dark his mind is, never leave. He is an ace in subtle emotional blackmail so he manages to guilty-trip people into staying no matter how horrible he might become at times. She was the one who dumped him, but she could never completely leave him.
