Two of the islands in the Auckland harbour - Rangitoto Island on the left and Motutapu Island on the right. I photographed this shot from the bridge that actually connects the two islands. My greatgrandmother used to live here and I've been coming here since I was born so the place is very special to me.Related content

I would love to go to the netherlands! I was just reading something the other day that said that dutch people are the tallest in the world! Maybe I'm stating the obvious but I've never heard that before!

Yes, on avarage we probably are. Especially the men tend to all be around 2 meters. But the women are avarage. Im about 1,68 m... Cant help but wonder why that would be the case... mayby its because we have a lot of different types of bread... Its got to be food-related.
What I think is the most interesting about Holland is that basicly everybody rides bicycles. Eventhough they can afford a car and most of the time have one.. Alot of people are amazed by all the cycling lanes and cyclist traffic lights.

Well maybe thats why they have seperate lanes XD. I have the same thing against scooters. One ran me over once, on my bike!! D: Had a major concussion. and probably some brain damage... XD ( the scooters are allowed to ride on the same lane)

Haha I have to wait through winter until nest spring, but fortunately I LOVE winter! I think winter and fall are the most beautiful seasons, especially in the winter when you wake up and look outside, and there's a fresh, new blanket of snow, untouched, sparkling in the sunlight and the tree branches are laden with pure, icy white crystals, and the window glass is etched with frost...

Ooh... I can't stand winter without snow! I spent a Christmas in the southern US somewhere (I forget what state) and it was so warm... gahhkpthbfgahkl! I wish I could go there sometime in the winter...
