A very gentle fellow, Fabye comes off as being very quiet and friendly with a touch of shyness that can come off as a lack of self-confidence. However, in reality, it simply the fact that he doesn't commonly feel the need to contribute, and rather he prefers to observe; he's a bit of a Yes-man and prefers to let others make his decisions for him, allowing him to simply float along. He usually does have very strong opinions regarding things, though, and most of the time they're the complete opposite of what he usually goes along with.

His perception of self-preservation is a bit skewed, being in the medical field, and under all circumstances will he place the needs of someone in pain (whether it be physical or mental) before the needs of himself. He disregards and concern his own physical being completely, and even forgets to care for himself at times. In such means, he's still a bit childish; though he watches and listens, his skills at interpreting reality aren't fully developed. His world is still black and white.

Fabye tends to depend heavily on others to guide him; he slips on by without ever having to make a decision, and his awful habit of doing so has left him without any knowledge of how to function without anyone else.

✧ Past:
Growing up in a middle-class household, Fabye received everything that he asked for in return for him to pursue the medical field so that he might become wealthy himself and support his parents when he grew older. Due to this, he found himself without much desire by the time he was in his late teens. He was very sheltered as a child, and since everything was handed to him, everything was decided for him... he never argued about it, simply finding it easy and going along with it and make everyone happy. His lack of a bold, outgoing personality had allowed him to slip into the background, always unnoticed, even with his high intelligence.

It was the same through medical school--always saying yes, always smiling, almost as if it were a game. How long can you hold out? How tolerant are you? Eventually it just became easier and easier, and he didn't even need to think, it simply became a part of his life. And so he would watch. He would study the behavior of others as he studied to further his career. A good thinker with a knack for detail and flexibility, he made his way through with a respectable performance, only to be hired by a clinic in the town he lived in. In reality, he didn't particularly like medicine, but at the same time he didn't dislike it--he wondered what sort of field he would really rather like to work in, and yet, he could think of nothing that interested him, as he had never really explored any other options due to the structured course that his parents had set for him.

He spent his time working as a doctor in a small clinic in a town that few people had ever heard of, living in a small apartment and keeping an owl in his spare time that had turned up in his front of his apartment complex one day with an injured leg; he'd tried to operate on it, not thinking to bring it to a vet, however the appendage had needed to be removed. Despite him trying to bring it to a rescue center for further recovery, the owl refused to leave him. Fabye saw much of himself in the owl--although in reality it was the owl that saw much of Fabye in himself--and the rangers suggested that, after some training in caring for him, that Fabye keep the bird.

Such a simple life bored him. The idea that people preferred this quiet way of life bothered him, that he was his own man and he had to create his own path from there on out, which was uncomfortable. Ah, but one day, what arrived in his mailbox but a summon from the Queen, directing him on a new path, a path of which was far too intriguing to deny.

✧ Extras:
~ He keeps an Eastern Screech Owl named Temple, who is extremely cryptic and operates on a level beyond Fabye's understanding. Because of this, Fabye thinks that Temple is simply an ordinary owl that does not particularly like him. Additionally, Temple only has one foot.
~ Fabye is blind in his right eye. It can still recognize changes in light, however. The nerves in it are also damaged, and he cannot move it; because of this, he chooses to turn his entire head to look at things, rather than moving only one of his eyes.
~ Selects the tactic to fight with speed over power due to his lack of physical strength, using a lightweight saber and an English double barrel flintlock Pistol (18th Century Remake).
~ Took six years of fencing, though stopped when he got into medical school.
