Description "My crew... is my family, Kirk. Is there anything you would not do... for your family?"

And I say, Jim, you did what you can, in a way you can do. *hug Jim* You are growing to be the captain you are meant to be. TT

I believe i overdid it, rather messy and all... but still, I hope it did Jim and his family justice.

Those who have yet to watch the latest sequel, you will enjoy it. I know I did despite its flaws and the twists from the original series (that hardcore trekkies may like/hate). But to see our dear captain, the enterprise and the crew we love in the present re-adaptation and bringing in new fans into the Original series. I'm glad to be able to witness it.

Cheers!

I love it, it's so moving! Seeing Kirk, someone who shows textbook signs of abandonment issues, drowning and his crew/his FAMILY reaching out for him is just so moving! I love the Enterprise crew! And you know what I love most about this? That Spock's hand is the one holding Jim's. Spock is the one who suppresses all emotion and would normally be the last person you'd expect to see cry, but this is KIRK and he is the exception! Also, Spock lost his mother, and his whole PLANET, so to see him part of such a loving and strong family is truly beautiful! I got all this from one drawing, and what a stunning drawing it is! The symbolism and colours are fantastic! Thank you!

Ohmigawsh, that's beautiful. You've always been my fav ST artist, especially whenever you do anything Spock/Kirk. Please, please, please do some more (I love the funny ones just as much as the serious!) Ya know (useless musing) I've been wondering if the only time we've seen Spock cry in the films was when Kirk died. I can't remember if he cried for Vulcan and his mother ...did he? Will have to re-watch the first film again. Just an interesting point notthatI'mtryingtosuggestthatyoushoulddosomethingawesomewiththat*wink wink nudge nudge* Love ya!

Still, the fact Kirk lost Pike in the sequel is not what i expected. So, having mixed feelings til now but i guess to have Kirk grow, the writers find it necessary for Pike to go.

I prioritize but im far too good at procrastinating and so i always end up doing things last minute. I have about 2 weeks left to finish my final piece and i have wasted so much time thinking about how much time i have left. :')

Of course the hand holding him IS spock's. Gosh this new movie.....the only thing missing IS spock whispering : t'hy'la to Jim. So sad, so beautiful.....and in your works you catch it always so well.....

well, it took many episodes and movies for spock to realize Jim is t'hy'la, so lets wait patiently XD thank you and i am glad you feel that way.

This screams the drama of the movie, how Kirk is really willing to do anything no matter how dangerous it is and how devoted his crew and friends are to go with him to the end.

I JUST SAW THIS MOVIE!

I loved it, the action, drama, the expansion on the characters from the previous film <333 and the endless supply of spirk i thought i would die
And personally I really enjoy the nods and twists they make to the original movies, I think it keeps from alienating new viewers and giving a treat to those who are long time fans ^^
I loved it throe and throe and will buy it the second it comes out on DVD <3
