Description This is Peeta and Katniss sleeping together on the train in a scene from 'Catching Fire', the 'Hunger Games' sequel.

The title comes from the Muse song 'Resistance' which fits the books so perfectly. If you haven't heard it, you need to listen to it RIGHT NAO!

It's wonderful but I don't like the way Peeta's hair is much too white. I know it's light blond, but even in the moonlight I think it should have a bit of yellow

If it's got to be between Peeta and Gale, then I have to go with Peeta, but Finnick was my favorite guy in the series. I like his cockiness and frequent partial nudity

one question though, why is peetas hair white? i cant remember if it is bleached or not in the second book cause i read it the day it came out, finished it then, and i havent gotten all the way through it again as of late...though planning on it.
i like how peacful they look...so nice compared to what they have gone thorugh in the games

Interesting take on them But is it weird that I don't want her to end up with Peeta? I'm thinking Peeta and Madge would hit if off nicely But I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what happens in Mockingjay, only 9 more days

I love MUSE, but you know the book that's the foundation (kind of) for 'The Resistance' is actually '1984' by George Orwell? That's the book Matt was reading when he was writing most of the music for it. Yes, I know my MUSE stuff and happy to say I'll be seeing them next month

Thank you so much for that Muse information! I'm always curious as to what Matt's inspiration is. I guess I'll have to go back and reread that book (I remember feeling tortured when I had to read it in school, and I think I blocked most of it out of my memory).

Oh, this is beautiful! Just beautiful. I love how you've drawn both of them (they look great in your style), the sparkling purple bedspread is a treat to look at (I always love the little touches in a drawing. ), and their pose is beyond adorable. Now I REALLY want to get to that scene in CF. I do need to finish The Hunger Games first, though. I need to be a good girl and read the books in the proper order. (-whines- But do I have toooo? )

Beautiful You know, when I first heard Resistance, the first thing I thought of was The Hunger Games. It's great to see that other people have the same thought! It's just that I imagined Gale, saving Prim and Mrs Everdeen from the bomb that Capitol threw at D12. Good job, again!

For some reason I've always pictures him as having really lightly colored hair, but perhaps next time I will go with a different shade since almost everyone seems to agree hes not a platinum blonde.
