Description So I've gotten into Infinity, a Sci-Fi miniatures game. Adding another miniature wargame to the list of games I play. I just finished painting up the Combined Army, Morat Agression Force starter pack. I really love the design of the infinity model range. This is one of my many favorites. The Sogarat, armed with a Feuerbach and clad in heavy armor. He makes an impressive and striking model.

why thankyou the blood is pretty simple to do if you know how to get the right effect. the trick is to mix a little bit of black into a transparent red paint. This gives it a much more realistic look.

In all honesty I find the Infinity models to be much nicer looking than those of games workshop. And, for being all metal models, they are of a very high quality and fit together surprisingly well. Something that was not usually the case with the metal models of games workshop, back in the day.

I wouldn't really know, I've never been able to afford miniatures myself and I wouldn't have been able to paint them anyway Β  I like Warhammer 40k for the lore, more than anything and now with sites like Roll20, I don't even have to buy models for a game, I can just make versions of them in MS paint and then throw them on a map in my browser to play a game with someone

its really not the same feeling though XD

As for affordabillity, thats the beauty of infinity. Its a skirmish level game so you really only need 6-10 models to play. for roughly $100 you have a complete and viable fighting force. As opposed to warhammer where you need 100+ models to get started, and then some. Unlike some games you don't even need to buy an expensive rulebook. All the rules are free for download from the infinity website. As are printable templates for order tokens and stuff. All you need is 6-10 miniatures, four D20's or twenty sided dice if you prefer. and a tape measure. And ofcourse a table to play on ^^

As far as painting goes, thats something you can learn over time. My first miniatures looked like total shit, and now they have reached an alright level. Im not a master painter by any stretch of the term. If I can do it so can you theres numerous little tricks you can use to make your models look good without too much effort.
